A second photographer can be added to Package 1 or Package 3 up to 2 months before your wedding date if you decided you wanted additional coverage! It is better to secure a second photographer as early as possible, as I do only hire other professional wedding photographers to work alongside me. If your wedding is on a Saturday or a summer date, I would try to book in a second photographer with as much notice as possible!

I do offer hourly coverage, so please contact me for further pricing and information, Please note that 3 consecutive hours are required as a minimum.

Hourly coverage availability is subject to date and time in advance requested for the booking.

FAQs

  • I arrive around 2 hours before your ceremony time and leave in the evening after your first dance. I don’t run away straight after the first dance. I like to stay and photograph a lively dance floor and get involved with the party! A full day is usually around 10 hours. I typically leave around 30/45 minutes after your first dance depending on the time. There is typically a lull in the dace floor antic when evening food comes out so this is usually a good time to wrap up and ensure I’ve captured everything for you both!

  • You don’t NEED 2 photographers. However, I do highly recommend having 2 photographers on your wedding day if you would like more coverage. Having 2 photographers enables both sides of your preparation covered in the morning and tells both sides of the story. It gives an additional angle in your ceremony and for the rest of the day, and plenty more candid shots of your family and friends having a fab time! For larger weddings with 100+ guests, having a 2nd photographer can give you the absolute best coverage to tell the story of your wedding day.

Head over to my blog post here to read more about having a 2nd photographer.

  • How long is a piece of string? I always promise minimum of 550 images if you’ve chosen a solo photographer package. With 2 photographers, you will indefinitely have a larger final gallery. I can never guarantee an exact number as no wedding is the same as the next! The final number can vary, however you will always have a minimum of 550 final edited images delivered to you if you book in full day coverage.

  • I am indeed! It is VERY important for a photographer to have the relevant insurance before stepping foot at a wedding. I have full professional public liability insurance, indemnity insurance and equipment insurance.

  • Travel costs are included within 2.5 hours of the TA9 postcode where I am based. Areas that I cover regularly inclusive or travel costs include Somerset, Devon, Dorset Coast, South Wales, Bath, Gloucester, Swindon.

After that, there may be travel costs to cover accommodation close to your wedding venue. This ensures I am there bright and early and minimizes any travel delays. I travel all over the UK for weddings and travel expenses are always kept to a minimum so drop me a message! A cheap and cheerful Travelodge will do me just fine!

  • I love to get to know my couples, and ideally I would love to get a coffee and a big slice of cake before the big day and have a good chat However, if you are planning your wedding a little further afield from Bristol/Somerset, we will have a Zoom/Skype call where you’ll have my undivided attention to talk all things weddings and beyond.

It is super important to me to get to know you both, and make sure you’re both comfortable! Some couples choose to book an engagement session prior to the wedding to get used to being in front of the camera.

  • YAY! It’s super simple to get in touch with me to start the booking process. Fill out my contact form here on my website, where I’ll get back to you within 48hrs and confirm which package you were interested in. We’ll set up a meeting or a phone call where I can learn all about you both from your fave hobbies, how you met, why you chose your wedding venue etc.

It is really important that I build a relationship with you and you know who I am too! You’re paying someone to be with you for over 10 hours on your wedding day, you definitely want to make sure they’re a good fit for your wedding!

After we’ve had a grand old chat, I ask for a £250 deposit with any package booked. This secures your date and makes it exclusive to you. Your remaining payment is due 2 weeks before the wedding. The time in between that you can message me any time at all! I recommend you keep up to date and follow me on Instagram, I’m just a message away!

  • Of course! Extra hours can be booked if you are having events like fireworks that are quite a while after your first dance etc. Whilst I do not put a set limit on my hours during a wedding day, eg 8 hours or 10 hours, if you are having a particularly long day with events happening late into the evening, extra hourly coverage can be purchased as a bespoke quote. I typically aim to wrap up by 9pm-ish, so if you are having things you want covered after this, then let me know during your initial enquiry!
